Pics of the day 40 – Bolivian carnival masks

On Wednesday we staggered along to the Museo de Etnografia y Folklore, close to Plaza Murillo in the old Colonial part of La Paz, east of El Prado. Alongside displays of old methods of spinning & weaving, and ceramics from down the ages, there was a dark room showcasing a selection of some 40 Bolivian carnival masks. Most of them were from the 20th century, here are a few of the friendlier ones….
